Cordoba, Argentina
Argentina is without doubt one of South America's most captivating
and passionate countries.

Northwest of Buenos Aires, in the Central Sierras of Argentina,
is this lively university city dating back to 1573. Far enough off
the beaten track to avoid accidental tourists from the capital,
or travellers spilling over from Chile and Bolivia, Cordoba can
wallow in the knowledge that it's big enough to merit a visit in
itself, small enough for any visitor to negotiate, and central enough
to offer access to the stunning Argentinean scenery that postcards
are made of. Besides its two universities and impressive colonial
past - or even because of this, you could probably argue - it is
also an important industrial base and a thriving, modern city with
a flourishing centre for shopping and an active nightlife. Something
for everyone then, it seems…
