| Known as the ‘Land of Lakes and Volcanoes’, Nicaragua lies in Central America with Honduras to the North and Costa Rica to the South. It’s a country that is becoming very popular with eco-tourists in particular, and which, in addition to the lakes and volcanoes, has some truly outstanding natural features. Despite all of these attributes, which include jungles, rivers and sun-kissed beaches, Nicaragua is a definite fledgling in tourism terms and as such has the added bonus of being delightfully unexplored.
