Spanish Language and Wine Course (12 + 10 lessons per week)

The school is offering a combination of a language course and a wine course. During the first four days the participants are prepared in La Coruña to talk about wine, viticulture and the elaboration process. After that, the wine course will take place in the A Ribeira Sacra. This course is run by a professional Winemaker and grower and includes practical classes in wineyards and wineries, theoretical seminars, excursions, winetastings as well as the opportunity to participate in the harvest.
The language course comprises 12 hours and the wine course 10 hours. During the language course that starts on the Monday the participants will take accommodation in La Coruña until Thursday. On Thursday the participants will be transferred to Castro Caldelas and will stay there for three nights. Then you return to La Coruña where one more night is included.
The price includes: language course, wine course, accommodation in La Coruña and Castro Caldelas, wine tasting and lunch as well as sightseeing and excursions in A Coruña and Ribeira Sacra.

Please note that this programme runs from Monday to Sunday evening (Return to La Coruña at around 19.30)

Extra Facilities: Small kitchen for students use.
The school is situated in the centre of La Coruña, just five minutes from the beaches and the promenade, which is one of the longest maritime walks in Europe. It is also near to the shopping centre, restaurants and port, making it easy to explore most of the city by foot and take part in a whole range of cultural and sporting activities. The school itself is small and offers a relaxed and friendly environment in which to study Spanish. Classes are kept to a maximum of 8-10 students and all teachers are fully trained and experienced in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. There is also an extensive programme of activities for students to enjoy after class.

La Coruña boasts a mild climate all year round. The summer heat can reach 30ºc and the winters can be mild until December-February where temperatures could drop to about 8 - 12ºc.
