Cactus exhibited at HRD at London Excel for the third time in April 08. This show is an opportunity to find out how language training can work for you and your company, and get the very latest news on learning, training and development.

Cactus certainly made its presence felt at last year's London Language Show, with live music on its stand each day - including Sam singing 1920s French classics accompanied by Nigel on accordeon, Heike singing her funny and quirky German songs and a sizzling display of Flamenco accompanied by top guitarist and composer Ricardo Garcia.

BBC Learning Zone: Feb 2007

Cactus were delighted to feature in a BBC Spanish Shorts programme aimed at encouraging children at GCSE Level to study a language.

The programme was shown on BBC2's Learning Zone, its unique overnight record and play service, at 5am on Fri 23rd Feb. Language Travel Advisor Alex Wolfson showed how Spanish is used in the workplace at Cactus, and how speaking a language can open the door to many diverse, fun and sometimes unexpected career opportunities.

Alex was interviewed in Spanish and English, explaining how he uses his language skills to communicate with schools across the world when making bookings for our language travel clients, or when speaking to companies from abroad wanting to organise language training. The second part of the film then featured Alex going to popular local venue Komedia to discuss language training for their staff dealing on a regular basis with international music, dance and theatre groups.
