Lessons take place in the main school
building which has a large common room, gardens with
harbour views and a snack bar. Facilities at the school
include a heated swimming pool, gym, 9 tennis courts,
a riding school, sports centre, cafeteria and internet
facilities. |

Typical
Activities: |
One full-day and four half-day excursions are run
during every two week period. These can include the
cathedral city of Exeter, the maritime city of Plymouth,
Dartmoor National Park, Dartmouth and its Naval Academy,
the picturesque Devon town of Totnes, Woodlands Adventure
Park and a boat trip along the River Dart. Evening activities
include a disco and there are also daily sports and
activities that include treasure trails, games, varuios
sports and speedboat rides. |

| Accommodation: |
Host Families: single
or twin rooms, full board. A maximum of 4 students may
be hosted by one family at the same time, but students
will be of different nationalities so that the common
languag spoken is still English. Families are carefully
chosen and regularly visited by the accommodation department.
They are chosen for the standard of their homes and
the friendly welcome they extend to their young guests,
who will be treated as part of the family during their
stay. In Bath many families are within walking distance
of the school but some students may need to take a bus.
An accomodation officer is available to discuss any
homestay issues. Host families will undertake basic
laundry such as underclothes, shirts etc. |
