This is a brand new school that has been purpose-built to the school's exact specifications and requirements, resulting in a bright and modern complex with first-class facilities. It is located in the lively riverside area of Greenwich, close to many shops, cafés, parks and museums and just 20 minutes from the centre of London. It has capacity for 400 students and its excellent facilities include over 30 classrooms, an on-site library and bookshop, a large cafeteria serving hot meals throughout the day, and free email and internet access. There are also 120 bedrooms on-site, all of which have internet access points. Outside class students can enjoy a full programme of activities arranged by the school, which includes regular video nights, sports and games, plus weekend trips to central London attractions, other towns and tourist destinations.

There are many architectural delights on offer in Greenwich. Students can inspect the Old Royal Naval College, designed by Sir Christopher Wren or visit the site of the prime meridian, 0 degrees latitude, demarcated by the Greenwich Royal Observatory (see picture top left). Between lessons sea fairing students can also visit the Cutty Sark, the fastest tea clipper the world has ever seen.
