Located in the Centre region of France, Tours and its surrounding areas are well-known for quality wines, fairytale chateaux, and for the alleged ‘purity’ of the local spoken French. Tours has huge historical significance relating to various periods in time, and actually enjoyed two brief spells as the capital of France. The city itself is a very attractive spot, not only due to its wealth of historic buildings and monuments, but also because of its large number of parks – an attribute which has earned Tours the title of "garden of France”.
Conveniently located right in the heart of Tours, the school currently offers two French courses - General French and the more specialist French Teacher Training, aimed at existing schoolteachers of French. Accommodation is available either in a self-catering student residence, or with a local French-speaking host family for optimum cultural immersion.
