If you want to go to Frankfurt you certainly won't have a problem getting there: sitting conveniently in the centre of Germany, it is undoubtedly the country's largest transit hub. Home to the stock exchange and some 400 banking institutions, it is Germany's financial centre and as such boasts an impressive Manhattan-like skyline that includes Europe's tallest office building. It's not all about transport and money though - Frankfurt invests more in the arts than any other European city, and has a string of museums, galleries and festivals to satisfy all tastes. It is also a fascinating cosmopolitan melting pot, with a quarter of its inhabitants of foreign nationality.
Students can choose between General German, Individual German and Intensive German in Frankfurt. Accommodation-wise, they have the option to stay in a shared apartment, or for optimum cultural immersion, with a local German-speaking host family. Frankfurt’s main high street is only 2 minutes walk from the school and the city centre is just 5 minutes away by public transport.
