As the capital city of Wales, Cardiff is a place that is intensely proud of its Welsh heritage and nationality. Although Cardiff is in Wales, English is the main language. The English spoken in Cardiff is the standard form, but Welsh speakers have a particular accent that gives it a gentle rhythm and a really nice sound.
