:: Welcome to London - Hampstead

Hampstead may be located in Inner London but it is one of London's best preserved old villages, surrounded by a large expanse of attractive parkland known as Hampstead Heath. It is quite unique in that the centre of London is very close, yet it manages to retain a distinct and cosy village feel. Students coming to learn English in Hampstead will enjoy the area's intellectual, musical and artistic connections; many writers, artists and celebrities live here, and it is one of London's most wealthy areas. Saturday evenings in the summer are commonly spent enjoying open-air concerts below Kenwood House, while book readings, recitals and fun fairs will fill your diary after class.

One of the advantages of taking your English course in Hampstead is that you have a choice of accommodation options close to the school. You can live in an attractive residential district of London without having to travel far to your study centre each morning - a luxury that students in central London cannot enjoy. However, central London is easily accessible by bus and tube, so you have the best of both worlds here.
