Kensington is an affluent and densely populated district of West London. Its commercial heart is Kensington High Street, which offers a wide range and number of shops, many typically upmarket. It also comprises South Kensington, which is famous for its abundance of museums and educational institutions: the excellent Royal Albert Hall, Science Museum and Natural History Museum are all located here.
