:: Welcome to New York - Tribeca

If you come to learn English in Tribeca you need not worry about getting lost, as it takes its name from its location: Triangle Below Canal. Located south of Canal Street, between Broadway and West Street, Tribeca is one of America's most fashionable and desirable neighbourhoods. It is an upmarket residential area and a popular filming location for cinema and television, reflected in the popular Tribeca Film Festival which was established in 2002 and since which the area has seen large-scale regeneration.

Tribeca offers students an ideal location to study English and explore all that New York has to offer. With the friends you meet in class and through activities organised by the school, you will be able to enjoy the nearby areas of SoHo, Greenwich Village and Wall Street, as well as the city's wonderful theatres, shopping, restaurants, nightlife, architecture and parks. As you are taking your English course in downtown Manhattan, you should expect to travel up to 45 minutes to your accommodation from the school; Tribeca's subway, bus and other transport links are excellent, however, so it is easy to travel all around the island and elsewhere.
