Cactus offers summer junior courses for teens aged 13-17 years in two sister schools in Costa Rica: the student city of Heredia and the coastal resort of Samara. These teen summer camps enable students to learn Spanish whilst immersing themselves in Costa Rican culture and discovering the wonderful nature and landscapes of this small but diverse country. Activities after class often make the most of the beautiful natural surroundings, be it pristine beach or verdant jungle, with surfing, horse riding and canopy tours popular pursuits. Latin dance and cooking lessons are also available, and all give students the chance to practise the language with each other and the locals. Students are accommodated in local homestays in Heredia, where they will be welcomed into family life, and in a hotel in Samara which offers great facilities for teens. |

Courses are available for juniors aged 7 to 20, and include residential all-inclusive camps, summer day camps, 'A' Level revision courses and specialist activity courses for watersports. Our juniors course in Uruguay has been designed for children aged 11 to 14 who are travelling with parents enrolled on an adult course at the same school. The school is located in the vibrant capital city of Montevideo, in a pleasant residential area just a few blocks from the beach. Junior classes are kept small and tuition is appropriate to the children's age, based around grammar, conversation and educational games.
