On the south coast of Ireland's lies its second city, Cork. With the River Lee winding gracefully through and a network of bridges making everything perfectly accessible, Cork is an attractive city that is easily explored on foot. Walking around the city, you’ll find a mix of old alleyways, Georgian parades and contemporary buildings. Some of these house shops and restaurants, but many are also home to Cork’s traditional Irish pubs, with their cosy corners and live music. The people of Cork are very proud of their city, and of their Irish culture, and they’re also very friendly people who will do their best to make you feel at home during your English course - and give you ample opportunity to practise the language!
Students who want to learn English in Cork can choose between two English language schools, both located in the heart of the city. These schools offer a variety of English course formats, lengths and levels, ranging from beginner to advanced, and accommodation can be organised in an apartment or, for full English immersion, with a local host family.
