Dubliners, as the locals are known, are famed for their friendliness and sense of humour, and will be happy to tell you all about their city and customs, giving you plenty of opportunity to practise the language. Dublin is the perfect mix of traditional and modern, with a great sense of history and culture but a modern pace of life with chic shops and restaurants for students who prefer that side of life.
Cactus works with three English schools in Dublin, all either in, or within easy reach of, the city centre. Students can choose from a range of English course options, lengths and levels. Accommodation options vary from school to school, but generally include a room in a shared apartment, a student residence, a youth hostel or with a local English-speaking host family.
