Piccadilly Circus is located in the heart of London’s West End, close to the capital’s best theatres, shopping and entertainment facilities. It is a major traffic intersection, with 5 roads converging here, and is home to the famous statue of Eros, both of which make it a busy meeting place and tourist attraction. By night, video displays and bright neon signs light up the Circus, as they have done since the early 1900s. Piccadilly Circus tube station is located directly below the junction, enabling quick access to the rest of London.
If you want to learn English right in the heart of London, you can’t get much better than Piccadilly Circus. You will study close to London’s top attractions and after class be able to enjoy nearby theatres, restaurants and shops with friends you meet on your course. Take your English course in Piccadilly Circus if you want a lively, social experience, and just bear in mind that as you are studying right in the centre of the city your accommodation may be located further away (up to 45-60 minutes by public transport).
