The school was established in 1997 and was one of the first institutions teaching Polish as a foreign language. It is located in a main street in the centre of Krakow, just 10 minutes on foot from the main square and close to both bus and tram stops. The school takes up the ground floor and second floor of an historic building erected at the turn of the 20th century.
