This is a low cost school which is extremely central in Brighton, 1 minute from Churchill Square shopping centre and 5 minutes from Brighton's famous beach. It is just up from the famous Brighton Clock Tower, and opposite the medieval St Nicholas Church, the oldest building in Brighton. The school is an unusual triangular shape which make the classrooms and student chill-out area quite interesting. The classrooms are quite small, but clean, well-lit (redecorated in 2009) and classes take up to 14 people. In the summer, the school uses classrooms in other buildings in Brighton (like a lot of schools do), so you may be in a different building for your lessons. Due to this school's low prices, you should not expect too many extras. There is a drinks machine and a small number of PCs on the ground floor for student use, and the whole building has free wi-fi. Apart from that, the idea is that you get out and explore everything that Brighton has to offer including its many bars and coffee shops. Next to the school is the churchyard, where students can relax and enjoy the sun during breaks.
The school has recently had its first British Council inspection, which means all teachers will be qualified and experienced in teaching English as a foreign language, and also that the school has a good quality curriculum and teaching ethos. The school has also developed a reputation for running quality exam preparation courses, and many of the students already live in Brighton. This means there will be plenty of students who can tell you where to go and what to do in Brighton.
