Although Colchester is located in the heart of the pretty Essex countryside, the school itself is only five minutes walk from the bustling town centre.
Classes are small and multinational and take place in a relaxed but professional environment. Students are encouraged to speak English at all times and to undertake projects and presentations to optimise English learning. For continued progress outside of the classroom, students are also encouraged to make use of the wide range of books, magazines and dictionaries available. With 8 video players and 27 computers the computer and video rooms also provide students with an ideal opportunity for further study.
Outside of school, the centre's extensive social programme enables students to make the most of their surroundings and of their time in the UK. Colchester itself has a wide variety of entertainment and more 'cultural' options for students to enjoy including theatres, castles and museums.
