Despite being relatively small in size, Ireland has an identity that is renowned the world over. It attracts thousands of tourists each year, who come to experience the tradition, the culture and the history that are so unique to this enchanting island. The rain that so frequently falls over Ireland is what maintains its lush green countryside, which in turn explains why it’s known as ‘the Emerald Isle’. You could be forgiven for thinking the climate might discourage foreign visitors, but Ireland and its people have so much to offer that it makes no odds whether the sun in shining or not...in fact, when the rain comes down, it offers the perfect excuse to dive into the local bar or restaurant and sample a pint of one of Ireland’s most famous exports - Guinness.
