Washington D.C. is the capital city of the USA, and in fact was built specifically to serve that purpose. Located on the east coast of America, it sits on the Potomac River, which was considered a natural midpoint between North and South. The main draw for most visitors to the city is of course the White House and Capitol building, although the city in itself is cosmopolitan and vibrant with plenty to offer in the way of entertainment. A metro system within 'D.C.', as it's commonly known, makes it easy to get around, although much of the city centre can be covered on foot. Washington is a very clean city and unlike other US cities has a very spacious feel with no soaring skyscrapers and lots of green spaces, making for a pleasant English study destination.
Course-wise, students have the choice of Intensive English and Exam Preparation English. Accommodation is offered with local host families to give students plenty of opportunity to practise their English.
