Annecy

Annecy is located between Geneva and Chambéry and is the capital of France’s Haute-Savoie region. The stunning peaks of the Alps form an impressive backdrop to this chic and pretty town that is situated on the northwestern end of Lake Annecy. The town itself has something for everyone – boutiques and stores aplenty for the shopper, scores of restaurants and bistros for the food and wine enthusiast, ancient features and architecture for the history buff, and pedalos, canoes and cruise-boats for the summer tourist.
