Language Course Reviews

Tina, Qlanguage in Hong Kong: I enjoy learning at Qlanguage. This is the 3rd time I’ve returned with Cactus for more classes. The centre, teachers, students and location are fantastic. I would recommend this centre to anyone.

Jacopo, CELT School in Cardiff, Wales: I really enjoyed almost everything, especially the quality of the teaching and the student numbers in the school during the period I was there, that was great because classes were small and the teachers had a lot of time to spend with me.
Mel, Centre International d’Antibes in Antibes: The course is challenging and interesting. The professor is very good. I was upgraded to a studio apartment from a single room and this was very much appreciated.
David, France Langue in Paris: Overall very good, well-planned lessons and appropriate to my level, although I felt a bit overwhelmed at times by the amount of new words we were learning in a lesson, but this was a good challenge for me. After 14 years’ break from studying French, this was a great reminder!
Kelly, LSF in Montpellier: The staff at the school were really friendly and keen. Location within the city was great and Montpellier itself wonderful. The activities were fun.
Nathaniel, Lyon Bleu in Lyon: I wish I was able to extend my stay. The host family have been so kind and helpful with my learning. They are so typically French so the immersion experience has been so much more special.
Haldun, France Language in Nice: The teachers: very professional and perceptive to the level of a student’s language skills. Fun too.
Sarah, French in Normandy in Rouen: The course was great! All the staff and teachers were really friendly and helpful. The teaching materials were to a high standard and the lessons were well structured and challenging. Class sizes were small, 8 of us in total. There was a good range of evening activities too.
Josie, Lyon Bleu in Lyon: The organization at the school was superb. They took time to ensure they knew your level.
Victoria, DID in Munich: I really enjoyed staying with the host family – they were lovely and made me feel very welcome and gave me lots of opportunities for language practice.
Perrin, Fremsprachenforum in Cologne: I really enjoyed the one-to-one lessons. I would have liked to have done a longer course.
Simon, Instituto Venezia in Venice: The teachers were excellent. Lovely atmosphere at the school. Good mix of ages. Had a great time. Highly recommended. My fourth time there.
Alan, International House in Palermo: The quality of teaching was excellent, I would definitely recommend this school to friends or anyone wanting to improve their Italian quickly
Tessa, CIAL in Faro: Excellent teacher (Denise) who is very encouraging and strikes a good balance between grammar, exercises and conversations/discussion. My host family were a fantastic couple who were very welcoming, kind and extremely accommodating. Lovely room and wonderful food – felt very at home!
Lachlan, Portuguese Connection Language School in Lisbon: I really enjoyed feeling like a part of the family with the staff and other students.
Natalia, Taronja in Valencia: The lessons were interactive and they had been adapted for our class of students. The staff at the school were always very helpful and have dealt with any questions immediately.
Michael, Enforex in Salamanca: I thought the teachers were very good and friendly. The ambience of the school and location was very good.
Anita, CLIC in Seville: I really enjoyed meeting all the students from other countries and our teacher, Ines. I would have liked to have been able to stay longer!
Alison, CLIC in Seville: The course is appropriate to my level of Spanish and the teachers were very professional and encouraging. I wasn’t expecting homework(!) but it did mean that I got as much as possible out of the course.
Delia, CLIC in Seville: My favourite part was my excellent teacher, Emilio Diaz – he really was outstanding. And the social programme was also very well constructed and led by another great teacher.
Zina, Instituto Intercultural del Caribe in Santa Domingo: The teacher was sweet, good at gently correcting minor errors in conversation, and guiding the class. I really enjoyed the lessons very much.
