The School - Langue Onze Toulouse

Langue Onze Toulouse

Situated in the oldest historical district of Toulouse in the very heart of the city, Langue Onze shares a lovely 19th century building with a courtyard. Directly across from the Augustins, a 14th century monastery now a museum of fine arts, we are only a 5-minute walk from Place du Capitole, the central plaza of Toulouse, 2 minutes by foot from the Esquirol Metro station and easily accessible to all public transport. In the neighbourhood lovers of fashion will find a wide variety of boutiques from designer to funky and strollers will linger in the Jardin Goudouli at Place Wilson or on the green about the towering gothic Cathedral St-Etienne.

The courses take place on the first and third floors, with access by elevator. The school has 7 spacious and air-conditioned classrooms, student lounge, reading room and computer lab with internet access are waiting to welcome you. A variety of teaching methods, recordings and texts are used to encourage development of all language skills, with a particular focus on practical conversation. A special feature of this school is the free 'Tandem' (language exchange) service with local French people, which means that students can practise French with a local person and in turn give them conversation practise in their own mother tongue. At the end of the course students are given the opportunity for a formal evaluation (both oral and written) and a certificate attesting to their level of fluency.
