Online TEFL Course

About Cactus Online TEFL Course

If you are considering taking a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Course, you can prepare yourself by taking a Cactus Online TEFL Course.  An online TEFL course is the best option to prepare you before taking a face-to-face teacher training course.

The online TEFL Course is divided in two parts: English Language Awareness Course which covers grammar, and English Language Methodology which is a full overview of the key methodology.

How Does Cactus Online TEFL Course Work?

Cactus has designed the course to be logical and easy to follow. There are lots of videos about what to expect in a classroom, and interesting quizzes where teacher trainers can get hands-on the course. This means that as you learn, you get a real feel for what it’s like in a TEFL classroom.

The course consists of 60 easy-to-use units, and incorporates all the major rules and terminology of English grammar from a teacher’s viewpoint. It includes a full overview of key teaching techniques for new teachers, where you can see teachers in action in extracts from real lessons.

The interactive forums provide communication with your co-participants and tutors, with prompt, useful and informed online tutor support.

Online Platform

Join the online platform and start your course straight away. You can access it and login from wherever you are, whenever you want.

Duration of Cactus Online TEFL Course

You can spend as much or as little time on the course as you like, and you can jump back and forth through the units. Ideally, you should aim to spend at least 90 hours on the course, and there is enough material for up to 150 hours, depending on how you work.
